It seems as if the American political establishment have learned fear, if nothing else, in the last couple of decades.
So whose fault was it? Ford or Carter?
You make a valid point.
However I was thinking in terms of the general sentiment, rather than the US in particular, when I posted the quote though, ditto the one from Ghandi in today’s is generally applicable.
